Cymryd Rhan  (meaning “Taking Part”)  is a Registered Charity that has evolved from a charity launched around 1985 by a group of local parents of children with learning disabilities.  They were concerned about what would happen to their children as the grew up and parents became older.  They initially bought a smallholding, then new flats in convenient locations and they provided support for people which allowed them to live in the community.  Wellfield House was purchased in 1996, the upper floors used as the company head office and the lower floors were used for daytime activities and for training.  Government policies and funding change over time, which resulted in the sale of the smallholding many years ago, but they still strive to support vulnerable people throughout Wales.

Note - You can download an A4 Floor Plan of Wellfield House as a PDF file from all of the websites.
